Job Description
Description:
We are seeking a Material Handler for a Weekend Shift in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, inspect for quality/quantity, verify against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Unload trucks, stage materials in designated storage locations, label and tag appropriately.
- Abides by all Standard Operating Procedures and processes.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
- Transporting raw and finished materials to different locations within the facility.
- Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned by site leadership.
Schedule:
- Friday-Sunday
- 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Requirements:
- Ability to effectively operate and maintain forklift equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to comprehend direction in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must commit to shift days and times as scheduled.
