Description:

We are seeking a CNC Operator for 2nd Shift in the Wilkes Barre, PA area. The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

Operate and monitor CNC lathes, mills, or drills to produce precision components that meet engineering and quality standards.
Load and secure raw materials and tools in machines for optimal performance.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure precise tolerances and compliance with specifications.
Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine machine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning. Report mechanical or operational issues promptly to the supervisor.
Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
May perform other duties as assigned by site leadership.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, G-code interpretation, and CNC control operation.
1–3 years of experience in CNC machining or a related manufacturing role.
Strong attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high-quality production in a safe and efficient work environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with multiple-axis CNC machines is preferred.
Must commit to shift days and times as scheduled.
