Description:
We are seeking a Yard Forklift Operator for Weekend Shift in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Transporting raw and finished materials to different locations within the facility.
- Ensuring all loads are properly secured before moving equipment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Abides by all Standard Operating Procedures and processes.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- May perform other duties as assigned by site leadership.
Schedule:
- Friday-Sunday
- 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Requirements:
- Ability to effectively operate and maintain forklift equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to comprehend direction in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull, and stand for long periods of time.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Must commit to shift days and times as scheduled.
